Check your resume the way a recruiter's software will

Paste your resume text and, optionally, the job description. The checker scores structure, contact details, quantified results and keyword coverage — privately, in this tab.

Plain text is enough. The checker does not need the original file.

Heuristic, not magic: this is a structural estimate, not a simulation of any specific ATS. Use it to catch missing sections, absent metrics and keyword gaps.

About this tool

The checker looks for the things that most often decide whether a resume survives screening: contact details a parser can find, standard section headings, a sensible length, quantified achievements and action verbs. When you supply a job description, it also measures how many of the posting's recurring terms appear in your resume.

Treat the score as a checklist, not a grade. A resume with strong evidence but no job description supplied will score differently from the same resume matched to a specific posting, and that is expected. The individual findings matter more than the total: fix the failures, review the warnings, and keep the passes.

What it cannot see: tables, columns, text boxes and images. Those problems live in the file, not the pasted text. If your resume uses them, rebuild it in the single-column builder so the exported PDF is clean.

Common questions

How is the score calculated?

Weighted checks for contact information, standard sections, length, quantified results, action verbs and — when a job description is supplied — keyword coverage. The report lists every check so you can see exactly what earned or lost points.

Does a low score mean I will be rejected?

No. It means the pasted text is missing signals that usually help. Fix the specific failures; the number itself is not a prediction.

Is my resume stored?

No. The text stays in the page's memory for this session. It is not saved to local storage by this tool, and it is never sent to a server.
